Paul Dibble has unveiled a major sculptural installation in Moore Wilson's new 'piazza'. Entitled From Under the Harbour, the sculpture celebrates the discovery in the 1920s of artesian water running under Wellington - water that was tapped and used by Thomson Lewis & Co. to make aerated soft drinks for 53 years, until Coca Cola stepped in.
Unbeknown to most Wellingtonians, the well provides the same (free and pure) water inside Moore Wilson's today.
