Page Blackie Gallery's stand at the Auckland Art Fair received fantastic feedback from collectors and critics alike. Record breaking numbers of visitors to the event over the three days higlighted the massive public support for the visual arts. The level of sales reported by dealers throughout the Fair further illustrated the burgeoning interest in collecting art. Economic doom and gloom seems to surround the art world, but rarely seems to touch it.
It was fantastic to see so many of the Gallery's supporters at the Fair, getting a snapshot of the finest contemporary art from New Zealand and Australia.
