Sleight of Hand The Port Nelson Suter Biennial opened last night at The Suter Gallery in Nelson. The exhibition, curated by Anna-Marie White, brings together a selection of work by contemporary New Zealand artists who ‘remain committed to traditional art values, combining technical skill with visual theory to create a range of illusory effects.’ Page Blackie Gallery artist Emily Wolfe features in the exhibition, with her stunning work The Folly, 2010 (seen above).Sleight of Hand runs through until the 27th of February 2011.
