The Bumper Book of Dick

We are delighted to announce Dick Frizzell will be launching Dick Frizzell: The Painter at Page Blackie Gallery in October this year.

Dick Frizzell: The Painter will contain all of Dick's major paintings, the story of his life in his own words and an essay by Hamish Keith on Dick's work and its place in the New Zealand art world.

A sad day for New Zealand art literature

We have just learned that Art New Zealand has published its last issue. After thirty-three years, William Dart has decided to retire the magazine. A great loss. We appreciate William's tireless work in supporting New Zealand visual arts and will miss his warmth and dedication.
